The Dietetic Value of Oatmeal Proteins

Abstract
These proteins are valuable for growth in rats. During gestation and lactation a diet of oatmeal, butter and salt is not adequate, probably because of quantity rather than quality of the protein. Adding food casein, gluten, gelatin and egg albumin to the oatmeal diet produced better growth in the suckling young.
