Abstract
Drought is undoubtedly one of man's worst natural enemies. Its beginning is subtle, its progress is insidious and its effects can be devastating. Drought may start any time, last indefinitely and attain many degrees of severity. It can also occur in any region of the world, with an impact ranging from slight personal inconvenience to endangering nationhood (Hounam et al., 1975)Keywords
