Abstract
Acetylandromedol (andromedotoxin) has been isolated from the nectar of Rhododendron thomsonii. The pharmacological properties of toxic nectars obtained from several Rhododendron sp. and hybrids have been investigated and these indicate that the poisonous principle is acetylandromedol. Keywords
