Abstract
Reports the improved extinction ratio of the output signal for 80 km G.652 or 240 km G.655 SMF transmission experiments in terms of an all-optical wavelength converter based on XGM in a SOA at 10 Gb/s by using a waveguide filter, optimal probe and signal powers and a DCF compensator. Keywords
