Abstract
In order to investigate a possible interaction between crimetidine and carbamazepine (CBZ) 7 otherwise healthy epileptic patients on a long-term monotherapy with CBZ were given cimetidine (1 g daily) for 7 days. No significant alterations in steady-state plasma concentration of CBZ and the 10,11-epoxide metabolite (CBZ-E) were demonstrated. Keywords
