Abstract
Novel indole alkaloids of the aspidosperma-type, viz., voafinidine and voalenine were obtained in minor amounts from the leaf extract of Tabernaemontana divaricata (double flower variety). The structures of these alkaloids were elucidated by spectral methods.Keywords
