Abstract
Using semiclassical transport theory, exact expressions are obtained for the low-temperature phonon-drag contribution to the thermoelectric tensor of a metal in a high transverse magnetic field, H. It is shown that the off-diagonal elements of the thermoelectric tensor to leading order to as 1/H and, under certain symmetry conditions, are independent of the impurity scattering. It is also shown that under the same conditions the diagonal elements to leading order go a 1/H2.Keywords
