Abstract
The renin-angio-densinogen reaction has been utilized to determine the renin in small specimens of human kidney obtained by needle biopsy. Acidification of the extracted kidney tissue to pH 3.0, and incubation at 0[degree]C for 30 min destroyed angiotensinase without affecting the renin. The method is applicable to as little as 0.01 gm of renal tissue. Keywords
