Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 24-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of progressive deterioration in her mental status.The patient was born legally blind in the left eye because of a central chorioretinal lesion that was believed typical of congenital toxoplasmosis. At the age of 15 years chorioretinitis developed in the right eye and was treated with adrenocorticosteroids and later with sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine. She soon became legally blind in both eyes.
