Abstract
The activity for methanol formation of copper-chromia catalysts is sensitive to the temperature of calcination pretreatment; X-rays photoelectron spectroscopic studies of the reduced catalysts showed a correlation between the amount of stable surface Cu+ and the activity for methanol formation.Keywords
