Abstract
A novel porphyrin trimer linked vertically, Ru(OEP)(H2PyP3P)2 1, was synthesized and characterized. The trimer showed intriguing MLCT bands. The preparation of a series of three porphyrin oligomers, Ru(OEP)(CO)(H2PyP3P) 2, Ru(OEP)(CO)(ZnPyP3P) 3 , and [Ru(OEP)(CO)]2(trans-H2Py2P2P) 4 were also reported. Keywords
