The absolute photoionisation cross section curve for atomic helium

Abstract
Measured cross section data are presented for the photoionisation of ground-state helium atoms. After correction for excited-state ions and double ionisation the data are found to be in good agreement with the RPAE calculations for the transition He(1s)2+hv to He+(1s)+e from threshold to 200 eV.Keywords
