Techniques involving a single mode CW tunable laser have been applied to isotopically enriched Nd3+ ions in a LaCl3 host. Some problems related to energy migration have been investigated : satellite structure, energy up-conversion, and spectral diffusion among ions in dissimilar sitesKeywords
