Abstract
A review is given of papers on seasonal changes of vertebrates. Cytological and volumetric changes are considered with reference to sex behavior and physical features during the year. The analysis shows that there is no parallelism between sex activity and quantity of interstitial cells. Germ cell development does parallel the physiological changes accompanying mating. The discussion is supported by charts showing volumetric changes of germinal and interstitial tissue in various species. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
