Abstract
Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronically relapsing inflammatory skin disease, which usually presents in the first years of life1-3 and is often associated with a family history of atopy.1,4,5 The cumulative incidence of AD has increased in the previous 4 decades, especially in countries with a Western lifestyle.6-8Keywords
