Abstract
In the presence of suitable rhodium(II) catalysts, lactam derived β-ketosulfoxonium ylides can be transformed to β-oxonitrogen heterocycles, e.g. substituted 4-oxopyrrolidine, viaintermediates of carbenoid nature.Keywords
