Abstract
Battles have always been a feature of psychiatry, and the traditional hegemony of the hospital has been contested particularly often. Mosher (1983) has made one of the most recent major incursions into enemy territory on behalf of the community care guerillas, in a paper in the New England Journal of Medicine. Keywords
