Weak Field Breakdown of Superconductivity in Ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-x

Abstract
The critical current of ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-x samples with a variety of cross-sectional areas were measured at 77 K and the critical magnetic field at the surface of the samples was estimated to be about 10 Oe. The remarkable diamagnetic response corresponding to the weak field breakdown of superconductivity was observed for the first time.
