The system H 2 O-NaCl at elevated temperatures and pressures

Abstract
Reports the results of investigations of the system H 2 O-NaCl under pressures up to 1240 bars and through the temperature interval 250 degrees -700 degrees C. The data indicate that the NaCl concentration of saline hot springs is not inconsistent with the postulate that the NaCl was transported from the magma reservoir in gaseous H 2 O.
