Isospin mixing in the decay of theT>giant dipole state

Abstract
The magnitude of the isospin mixing in the decay of the T> giant dipole resonance has been estimated, using the (γ, n) and (γ,p) cross sections available for the medium-weight nuclei Ni60, Sr88, Y89, Zr90, and Mo92. The deduced values show a fair correspondence with the existing data for mixing between compound states. From these results the mean mixing Coulomb matrix elements between compound states could also be derived.
