Abstract
In the USA 400,000 people die suddenly each year or one person every minute! In an important number of them, the sudden demise is the first presentation of cardiovascular disease. Although, as discussed by Roberts [1], many different causes can lead to sudden death; in the majority of victims, coronary artery disease is the culprit. In this article we will therefore concentrate on the role of coronary artery disease and its consequences. Keywords
