Abstract

A series of luminescent organogold(III) diimine complexes have been synthesised and the crystal structures of [Au(bipy)(mes)₂]ClO₄(bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, mes = mesityl) and [Au(phen)(CH₂SiMe₃)₂]ClO₂(phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been determined.
