Abstract
A woman who died at the age of 59 with Paget''s disease was found to have Ca deposits which were previously recognized radiographically in both legs. The legs had been edematous for yrs. from cardiac decompensation. This patient as well as the original man of Wells and Holley had received viosterol in the late stage of the disease, when a positive Ca balance exists. This has been the common method of therapy. Although the giving of Ca and viosterol was probably coincidental, no indication for use of viosterol in the later stages of this disease is seen. Microscopically and now macroscopically a tendency for the precipitation of Ca in the tissues of this disease is shown. Keywords
