Abstract
Samples of serum, colostrum and milk from 97 mothers and their infants were tested for their anti-A and anti-B content. Some correlation was observed between titers of agglutinins in colostrum and milk and between those of maternal serum and colostrum. No correlation was established between titers of colostrum or milk and the infants'' serum. Serum and milk containing Rh antibodies were given to one Rh-positive and 20 Rh- negative infants in the first days of life. Examination of the infants'' sera for Rh antibodies by several techniques failed to reveal their presence. Keywords
