Abstract
Unactivated zinc powder reacts with R3Pl2(RMe, Et, Prn, Bun) to yield the unexpected 1 : 1 adducts of zinc(II), Zn(R3P)I2; the X-ray crystal structure of triethylphosphine complex shows it to be dimeric [Zn(PEt3)l2]2.Keywords
