Abstract
The proposed diagnostic approach to hirsutism offers a means of performing the differential diagnosis of the etiopathology of this syndrome, thus allowing a rational therapy to be followed. Plasma androges in females from birth to premenopause are discussed, particularly with reference to .DELTA.4 and .DELTA.5 androgens. Keywords
