Abstract
A simple and fast correction method was developed to partly eliminate the blurring effects of the atmosphere on satellite imagery of the Earth's surface taken in the solar spectrum. This method is fast even on a small, low capacity computer. We show on Landsat images, that our correction procedure improves the contrast of the images and the results of the cluster analysis. Keywords
