Effect of Dosemeter Size on Measurements Close to a Radioactive Source

Abstract
The use of dosemeters in regions where dose-rate varies appreciably across the dimensions of the dosemeter leads to inaccuracy in the “point” dose-rate indicated. Calculation shows that the error introduced is much less than the variation in dose-rate across the dosemeter might suggest.Keywords
