Abstract
A 52-year-old man reported chest wall pain related to a thoracotomy 3 months prior. He noted persistent burning and lancinating chest wall pain even after wound healing. On examination, there was allodynia along the well-healed surgical scar. Opioids and capsaicin cream had been of little benefit. Keywords
