Abstract
The authors evaluate numerically the contribution of the plasmon dispersion coefficient alpha of an electron liquid ( omega pl(q)=(4 pi ne2/m)12/+h(cross) alpha q2/m+ . . . ) from the third-frequency-moment sum rule. It is found that the correlation correction to kinetic energy is important for the evaluation of alpha at metallic densities. Keywords
