Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 72-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of urinary frequency.He was well until 12 years previously, when he was admitted to the hospital because of superior mediastinal obstruction. An x-ray film of the chest (Fig. 1) showed a mass, 8.5 cm in diameter, that extended from the middle mediastinum into the superior mediastinum and the right-upper-lung field and displaced the esophagus and trachea to the left and posteriorly. A nodular density, 1.5 cm in diameter, was seen in the left-lower-lung field at the level of the fifth anterior intercostal space, and another was present . . .
