Abstract
New measures of entanglement - the time of disentanglement and the rate of decoherence - of states of a compound system are proposed. They are based on the dynamical properties of the system induced by the measurement-like interaction with an environment. In particular, it is shown that in the case of two qubits the time of disentanglement may serve as a practical measure of entanglement of mixed states. Keywords
