Abstract
A case of giant hydronephrosis occurring in a solitary crossed ectopic kidney is presented. This is the seventeenth instance of this renal anomaly, and the first reported in association with a giant hydronephrosis. The diagnosis is discussed, and attention is drawn to the high incidence of genital defects and pathological change associated with solitary ectopic kidneys. Keywords
