Abstract
In 27 patients with chronic schizophrenia, there was a significant correlation between performance on an antisaccade eye movement task and on the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test. A significant correlation was not obtained between antisaccade task performance and scores on the modified Mini-Mental State examination or the Schedule for the Assessment of Negative Symptoms in Schizophrenia. In addition, patients' antisaccade task performance was impaired compared with that of 12 normal subjects. Keywords
