Abstract
Intracellular distribution and some characteristics of a Ca2+-stimulated adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) in rat submandibular glands were investigated. This enzyme was activated by calcium alone, and magnesium was not necessary for its activation. Mg 2+stimulated ATPase also was investigated in the same enzyme preparations. Keywords
