Abstract
Having established the form of the theoretical isosteres and isotherms, it is now possible and desirable to find how far the constants of the deduced expressions fall in with their theoretical values. We will in the present paper confine ourselves to a consideration of the constants A and B of the zero isostere. These are given by equation (7) in log( α / c ) α = 0 = B (0) + A(0)/T and they are also given by A 0 in equation (8), log α / c = A 0 — A 1 α since A 0 = B (0) + A(0)/T.
