Amyloidosis in Ankylosing Spondylitis

Abstract
Three cases of ankylosing spondylitis complicated by amyloidosis are reported. All had very active systemic disease with simultaneous involvement of large peripheral joints, a very high erythrocyte sedimentation rate, negative serological tests for rheumatoid disease, proteinuria and hypoalbuminaemia.Keywords
