Abstract
An experimental surgical procedure was initiated to retard intestinal transit and to improve absorption in the remaining bowel. The results of creating mucosal folds in seven surviving dogs showed that steatorrhea was diminished and intestinal transit was prolonged. More work is needed to confirm the usefulness of the procedure. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
