Abstract
Summary: Antigenic analysis of somatic antigens of selected coliform and para-colon cultures has shown: 1) Strains with the XI antigen S. rubislaw; 2) two antigenic components in “single factor” cultures S. hvittingfoss (XVI), S. cerro (XVIII), S. tel-aviv (XXVIII) and S. urbana (XXX); 3) strains with partial or complete antigenic components of S. paratyphi (I, II), S. onderstepoort (XIV, XXV), S. carrau (XIV), S. senftenberg (I, XIX) and S. worthington (XXIII). Coliform cultures possessing complete or partial Salmonella antigens belonged to various sections of the coliform group, typical Escherichia and Aerobacter as well as para-Escherichia, para-intermediate and para-Aerobacter.Keywords
