Abstract
Summary: The clinical, sonar and pathological findings in 264 patients with a abortion were reviewed. It was found that sonar was a valuable diagnostic aid, especially in those patients in whom a complete abortion was diagnosed clinically. Using this technique the number of “unnecessary” evacuations could be reduced, and the duration of stay in hospital shortened. Keywords
