Some Calculations on the Jahn-Teller Effect in Octahedral Systems

Abstract
Numerical calculations for a soluble one-parameter dynamic Jahn-Teller effect in a system of octahedral symmetry are presented (vibronic coupling of a vibrational mode in a electronic state, linear approximation). A computer subprogram for computing eigenvectors and eigenvalues is described.
