Abstract
A series of xanthenyl- and benzopyranopyridinylacetic acid derivatives were synthesized by various methods, and the relationship between their structure and anti-inflammatory activity was assayed in the guinea pig by the method of UV erythema. 2-(5H-[1]Benzopyrano[2,3-b]pyridin-7-yl)propionic acid had the most potent anti-inflammatory activity. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
