Olfactory neurocytoma, a dangerous but uncommon tumor, coming presumably from the olfactory neuroepithelium, was recently reviewed by Mendeloff. In 20 available cases he found the primary site of the tumor to be in the nasal cavity in 19 instances and in the "ethmoid region" in the 20th. Transmitted herewith is a case wherein the primary focus was apparently in the nasopharynx rather than in the nasal cavity. A white youth, 14 years of age, was seen by me Nov. 7, 1957, with the complaints of nasal blockage and fullness in the ears of three weeks' duration. Examination revealed a lobulated, bluish, dirty mass, measuring approximately 3×3×3 cm., attached to the posterior wall of the nasopharynx and causing almost complete obstruction of this structure. The nasal cavity was clear, but thin bubbly fluid was found in both middle ears. A slightly enlarged, firm lymph gland was palpated in the right anterior
