Abstract
The total cross section for -Li symmetric charge transfer is considered theoretically by an impact-parameter method using a suitable atomic wave function. This cross section exhibits oscillations and is in qualitative agreement with experimental measurements and other theoretical results based on a simplified two-state theory.
