Abstract
Subcutaneous photographs of tissues treated by suction lipectomy have been obtained by adapting fiberoptic endoscopy equipment. These photographs document the presence of an intact neurovascular supply to the overlying skin and lend support to the concept of suction lipectomy with the blunt cannula. The technique of subcutaneous endoscopy is described, and additional uses for the method are suggested. Keywords
