Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 27-year-old woman, a Yemenite Jew and Israeli national, was admitted to the hospital because of diarrhea and vomiting. She was well until 11 years earlier, when she began to have intermittent abdominal pain. Eight years before admission severe diarrhea developed, often accompanied by the passage of blood. Two years later evaluation in Israel disclosed extensive polyposis of the small and large bowel. A subtotal colectomy with side-to-end ileoproctostomy was performed. Pathological examination of the excised specimen disclosed 87 cm of large bowel and 1 cm of ileum carpeted by hundreds of polyps, 2 to 20 mm . . .Keywords
