Abstract
First several physical tests are described by which the effect of electro-hydraulic shocks on the mucosa of the urinary tract is examined. They are based on the experience obtained from the electric lithotripsy of bladderstones with the Urat-1 apparatus. The tests served primarily as a preparation for the first endoscopical crushings of ureter stones. Two descriptions follow of ureterstones being crushed in a human. These procedures were carried out successfully without any complications during or after the operation, and without any ill after-effects. The first electric lithotripsy of a ureterstone was performed in July 1969. It was done without anesthesia and the patient was hospitalized for only one day. 1 Auszugsweise vorgetragen auf dem 4.
