Estimating Regional Input-Output Coefficients

Abstract
Interest in constructing regional input-output models through inexpensive means has inspired frequent investigation of procedures based on national coefficients. A common criticism of “non-survey” techniques is that they do not specifically account for imports and exports. This paper proposes a new “semisurvey” technique and attempts to partially fill the void associated with both nonsurvey and semisurvey estimation techniques.
