Abstract
Repeated tympanometric screening of a regionally defined population of 3 yr old children defined a group of 42 children having middle ear disease for at least 6 mo. These children were treated by myringotomy with or without adenoidectomy decided by random allocation. Postoperative observation during 6 mo. failed to disclose any difference in middle ear status between the 2 groups. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
