Abstract
The view of attention presented in the first part of this paper is elaborated and is shown to accommodate most known phenomena in selective, divided, and sustained attention. It is also used to discuss the major issues in the domain of attention. The present approach to these issues is compared with other approaches. Finally, the stance of the present view with regard to the mind-body issue is discussed. Keywords
